Government should learn from Councils

Local Government Channel talks to the Deputy Chair of the LGA, Cllr Richard Kemp about his reaction to the Government’s planned cuts in local government spending and the LGA’s £4.5bn proposal to help reduce the deficit. Plus he calls on Westminster to recognise the efficiencies and savings already made by councils and not to lump all public sector workers in the same category, particularly on pensions.
