LGA's David Sparks on council gains

Whilst losing power in Westminster at the General Election, the Labour party has achieved its best Local Election results for 14 years. The Local Government Channel talks to the incoming leader of the Local Government Association’s Labour Group, Cllr David Sparks about how a focus on running active campaigns out in the community has paid off and his call for local councillors to have more of a say within the Labour Party as a whole.
