West Sussex County Council - Worth Services

One in four women and over one in ten men are victims of domestic violence. WORTH Services in West Sussex gives victims rapid access to Independent Domestic Violence Advisers who act as advocates for victims and help them decide the best way to make themselves safe. By basing themselves in hospital emergency departments and training health professionals to ask direct questions about domestic violence, this unique integrated partnership between the county council, NHS and police is making a genuine difference.
