With a diverse range of courses both at undergraduate and postgraduate level, offered either full-time or through distance learning, the School of Applied Social Studies, at the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, has built an excellent reputation in Scotland and throughout the UK with both students and agencies. Two of the department's key approaches are to place service users and carers at the heart of the training, to influence the teaching, learning and assessment of Social Work students and the use of inter-disciplinary training.
